Illustration of use
Before compression ring problems occur: Add Sea Foam Motor Treatment to clean fuel lines, lubricate upper cylinders, and dissolve any petroleum residues that can interfere with and restrict the free movement of piston compression rings. Restricted compression rings will result in reduced compression in the combustion chamber, cylinder wear and frictional heat, eventually leading to cylinder and piston damage.
- Engine Type. All two-stroke gasoline engines
- Applicable products. Hyundai two-stroke gasoline direct injection engine
- Product Number. SF16CN, SS14CN
Maintenance methods and recommendations for combustion chambers, pistons and compression rings.
- Using Sea Foam in the fuel cleans the fuel system's oil lines and combustion chamber area, lubricates the upper cylinders, and cleans residues that may restrict the movement of the compression rings
- When storing a two-stroke engine, use Sea Foam Spray to spray the air intake and lubricate the cylinder bore
